Police on lookout for two suspects after alleged kidnapping/rape spans two counties | Crime
GREENVILLE, AL. (WSFA) - Authorities in Butler and Crenshaw County are on the lookout for two suspects after the Crenshaw County Sherriff's Department found a woman who claimed she had been kidnapped and raped.
At 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 10, the Crenshaw County Sheriff took a call from the Butler County Sheriff saying they found and interviewed a woman saying she was kidnapped from Butler County by two men in a white older model van.
The men allegedly kidnapped her, took her car and raped her after she saw the van on the side of the road and stopped to help. The woman said they pulled a gun on her, then put her in the van and kept her.
She was allegedly kidnapped from County Road 40 in Butler County and was found on County Road 7 in Crenshaw County where the men reportedly left her as well as her car.
Deputies are looking for two white males in an older model white van. Suspect number one has short red hair as well as a red goatee, suspect number 2 has short sandy colored hair and is sporting tattoos.
